After a marathon five weeks of baking hot competition, the outcome of the 2023 Saturday Afternoon League was decided in the final round, with Team E winning once again to finish top of the table outright on WLD points.
Congratulations to Ishu Chugani, George Ishiguro and Toshi Kurosawa!
Runners up were in fact, just as I thought, Team B, starring Marcel/Russell, Hans/Takako and Eddie Wu.
And in third place of course were Team F, starring Hideaki Ando, Lea Son and Tom Tyrrell.
Apologies to Teams B and F once again for my pitiful maths and the repeated reversal of this outcome.

Well played and congratulations to everyone, including our many invaluable subs, some of whom volunteered at the very last minute. It was quite challenging to complete this tournament, but we did it. Proper Club.
